View Full Version : Good gyms around Kensington??

Finally moved to Calgary and got a place in the Kensington area. I'm sick of public transit already (no car for a month or so) and I want to start weight training now. Where can I go? (Im on 10st by 3rd Ave.)

haha I would, but you'll have to pick me up. While extensive, Calgary's PT isnt too user friendly in some cases...well for me most. As it is I'am spending 2 hours/day on either a LRT or Bus to get to and from work and to have to add another hour just to go to the gym is too much. It's 45 min just to get to the g/f's.

Anyhow.

As for gyms near Kensington. You are probably going to have more luck with a gym downtown. You can take the train to WHC at the Bay and its not a bad walk from Kensington to the Eau Claire YMCA.
