I'd try to find the amp and deck used... build your own box, and buy a new sub

But if you need a deck too you would probably have to settle for cheaper components

i got my speakers and sub for 550.. amp to power the sub.. 250.. but its gonna be hard to find the rest if the limit is 1000

Soundsaround and visions have those packages for like 1500 or something with speakers 2 amps 2 subs and a deck :thumbsup:

go to econosound..very good deals, especially since you probably need a deck, amp, box, subs, fronts, rears, amp kit, dash kit ect.
thats alot of stuff to buy with only $1000, ...you're probably best to go with used stuff

i had the same idea as you when i first started my audio setup. I gave myself a $1000 budget....but one thing leads to another...
its like an addiction. u always need something better or something more....

depending how good you are at wheeling and dealing, you should be able to get that brand new, with warrantee for around 1000 bucks.

sounds great, and with 3 pre outs, its extremely upgradeable later.

only one problem with the mrp-f200... its kinda small for one 12", and way too small for two.

also, alpine boxes are glued together, just a word of warning :(
