wtf? Are we in jr high or something? Why do you need a reason to cut class? How about I didn't feel like it?

I slept in. This one works for all classes including afternoon.

Good ol' Mondays at Beaverbrook, for those that can remember the schedule I had a 5,3 spare. I wasn't going to let one class ruin my morning off.

Teacher attendance sheets have two marks, one for late and one for absent. They do not take the sheets up to the office until at least 1/2 of the class is over.

Notice how when they call it says "a student in your household in grade xx was LATE OR ABSENT from class today".

Your parents would have either no clue, or they are saying they believe you but a really plotting to send you to an all girls lesbian field hockey school.

i used to have this book i had to sign and fill out when i was late or absent from class. It had the date, name and reason for late/absent. My favorite excuse was I was abducted by aliens. It was all good until my dad came in to speak with the teacher (parent/teacher conference) and my english teacher showed him the book. Fuk did my dad give me a beating!!!!!!!!!

I didn't even use excuses in high school. I just came and went as i pleased - and my sister was usually home to catch the phone call.

- having said that - don't skip class and you don't need to make up cover stories.

teachers screw up too. sometimes they forget to write it down that you showed up if they do attendance at the beginning. happened to me about 3 times last year.

{insert subject here} is against my {religious/moral/spiritual/personal/whatever} beliefs. I want to attend, but I fear {cultural/personal/spiritual} reprocussions if I do. Thank you for understanding.

So, it would turn out like this:

Biology is against my Spiritual beliefs. I want to attend, but I fear spiritual reprocussions if I do. Thank you for understanding.

It's not out. Just go to the office and tell them that your home phone number has changed and your mom told you you had to inform the school so they have up to date contact information in case of emergency.

Then leave your cell phone number in its place - if they ask why its a cell phone number, deny that it is a cell and tell them it's that new shaw voice over IP.

Basicly people will belive what you tell them becausethe vast majority of people are honest so its natural to expect others to be honest.
