do CAPACITOR's go bad after time???
once charged up do they loose ther charge???

whats the best way to charge a cap????
i use a test light and when the light is off the caps are charged...





i also understand that caps can loose thier charge if you have a bad ground.
i know when they loose there charge it fourms a full circuit and can fry your BATT if you dont have a inline fuze



looking for a good place to get i wanna go cheep

I've never heard of a cap frying your battery, but your stupid if you don't have an inline fuse anyway.
check econosound ..all used stuff so it's mostly all pretty cheep.

They won't fry your battery if there is no inline fuse. As for the ground it shouldn't be bad any way. an they will not go bad or lose there charging abilities over time they are just oil and paper.

Capacitors can fail like any other electrical component. It is unlikely that it would fry your battery unless it developed a dead short, although in theory this could happen. More likely it would discharge your battery if it developed a small electrical leak.
