FS: 1992 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa, 170k miles, purchased a complete rebuild engine last year, many new toyota parts. blue leather , leather is in good condition, more wear on drivers seat.

car is white. front bumper needs paint.
this car has the factory 5 spoke rims, similar to the 93 supra rims.

engine runs VERY quiet on idle, quieter then the new cars they make. turbo sound amazing. oil is always changed. mobile 1 green lid synthetic.

drives very solid and smotth, turbo is great, owned since 2000. no mods, or anything like that,

full 3 inch hks exhust system with downpipe and mullfer (1700 dollars) arp headbolts headgasket torqed to 80, engine has all new gaskets.

these cars are very relaible and very powerful. these are RWD inline 6, these are not made out of cheap materials.

list of new parts (many were purchased just to restore to a new look)

engine wire harness (1300)
alternator (full new toyota) 450
radiator, shroud (540)
coil pack, coil harness (300)
full powersteering lines, and even resevoir)
2004 toyota navigation system GPS, (5500) no wirecuts just plugged in there.
toyota XM radio as welll. 350 addon to navigation unit

new bridstone tires, these tires are so rare, they have a unqie patern to them, they cost $800

new blue carpet (car is leather)

This is a US car, so it has no rust, i bought it from a dealership who bought it from the orgiinal owner, I have fulll documents and about 20 grand of recipts. (they may take aw hile to dig up)

these cars you do not have to put money into them, they hold their value, the money i spent for it was just to keep it a new style.

asking $14,500 obo ask any racer these cars are fast, with factory horse power of 235, they can go up to 600 and still run reliable.

price may seem high but i had many offers this year around that when I didnt want to sell it. but I need to now. The 92 supra is more rare then the 98 supra, they made very little of them. older supras are going for 9000-12 and not even in the condition of this.

I dont have pictures on this computer but you can PM me or email me [email protected] for more information. Car is Calgary.

what kind of head gasket was used when you rebuilt the motor? was it oem or an aftermarket metal one (eg. HKS) and was it torqued properly? this is my main concern.. thanks

Who are these "supra experts"?

import car specialist, reg riemer founded it. i never had problem there before cause i pay top dollar.

they may not be "expects" but when I went to stampede toyota 3 years ago, paid 4500 for a hg job and head, and new radiator it lasted only 2 days and they wouldnt even warrenty their work. THEY ALL KNOW ABOUT THIS THERE IT WILL HAUNT THEM FOR EVER.

so i went back to import and the fixed properly and used ARP headbolts.

Oh, you mean Vladimir's old shop that Dan Fulford bought. I have to agree that they do an excellent HG job. A little expensive, but well worth it. I think I saw your car there almost 18 months ago after Dan sold the shop and it was moved. I remember seeing a white Supra with blue leather interior. I can vouch that the car is in great shape! The leather is mint! Good luck with the sale, it is an awesome car.

thanks that was it. i lost thousands cause of a bad engine I bought from yoko tire back in 2002, and then fixed the headgasket on it in jan 2003 at stampede toyota, lost a few there cause it only lasted 2 days

then i went to dans shop and fixed it. about 2500 spent

then in 2004, the yoko tire engine had interal problems in the block (very common in jdm 7mgtes)

then in may 2004 i bought a complete, complete rebuild. and put arps in there. again thousands. i should of bought the rebuild back in 2002 and it would of saved me ebarsement and about 6 tousnad dollars.

but yeah no problems since, it does need front wheel bearings, i bought them for 290 but they need to be installed

i am getting a lot of offers. too many its going crazy again. i do have a upgraded ct26 completly rebuilt with i think its called 60 compressor or something upgrade. its not instaled yet.

theres also dynamat under the carpet too. i replaced teh windshield 2 years ago. the oriingal one had a lot of circles in it.

it can use paint on thefront bumper. theres still all the orginal paper work and stuff. you can get factory keyless entry for this model. airbag has been disabled (i was advised because the older airbags are very dangerous)

i am looking for a buyer that will keep it all orginal is perfered. haha. but i really dont care.

supra people dont let this go buy. its a classic. i am selling it causie i owned it for soooo long i am not 17 anymore . i am 23
