Just starting using Azureus!

I just starting using Azureus the other day, and felt i should share. If you guys download TV shows i highly reccomend checking out a program called Azureus /w the RSS plugin. You basicly tell it what programs you watch and it automaticly downloads them when they come avalible. Its basicly like Tivo for your computer.

i was considering trying Azureus out. I tried out Bit Comet for a bit, but had problems because it somehow ate up all my bandwidth (ie. with bit comet on, i wouldn't be able to connect to the internet)

i have used azareus for a long time, but never heard of the RSS plugin... my beef with it is it hogs resources like mad crazy.

i used to use Azureus til latests patch, it wont connect to any torrents now, so i moved back with ABC

This are the sites i'm using;

(i removed the "h" so it wouldn't link them)
ttp://www.tvtorrents.net/rss.php;ttp://www.btefnet.com/backend.php;ttp://varchars.com/rss/suprnova-tv.rss
replaces spaces with . in tv show names.
for example:
law.and.order;csi.miami;family.guy

You can download the RSS import plugin here;
http://azureus.sourceforge.net/plugin_details.php?plugin=RSSImport

Then unzip that folder to the "plugin" directory

You'll have to do some configuring to get it to work:
Options > Files > click "save to defult data directory" then set the directory.

If you have troubles pm me - or search the web. You can also use complex strings to only download HDTV format

I've tried ABC , and didn't like it because it didn't respect my settings, it would consistantly upload at rates higher than I have specified.

I've never tried Azureus.

I'm currently using Bit Comet, it respects my settings, and it allows me to ban leeches for up to 24 hrs at a time.
