Being reported on CNN/CNBC right now. However not much is known yet.

Seemed like a really urgent evacuation and there are talks about aircraft in restricted airspace.

Single seater plane has now been escorted out of no fly zone by 2 US F16 jets.....it's over lol.

Next they will be shooting down every seagull that get's close to the White House..

Wouldn't want to be the pilot of the Cessna right now though.. :eek:

:rofl: Gotta love american paranoia! I think its wonderful that all this time the world got scared by the thought of americans taking over their homes, and now, americans are scared in their own home.

Ok so what if they didnt evacuate and it turned out to be an aircraft ladden with bombs? Would you be calling them stupid for not getting out? :rolleyes:

thtas crazy, it got to a range of 3 miles. the no fly zone is 15 miles.
that means it was in the no fly zone for at least 4 minutes before confronted.

Your an american, and that what your CNN tells you. What if? What if? What if? The ppl in Iraq look over their skies and KNOW that the plane in the sky is ladden with bombs that will fall damn close to them. They dont go running away into sewers.

I've lived in the Middle East half my life. I'm just comparing how the americans did this for decades to nations around the world...now the tables are turning.

If the USAF really thought the plane was a threat,it would have been shot down.Plus there are ground based missiles around the White that could have taken it down..


..and in a related story ,a low flying Canada goose was spotted over downtown Calgary yesterday.The bird flew around the city for several hours,prompting an evacuation of City Hall to the nearest underground bar.Fortunately there was no one working in the building at the time..

Have you ever been in a Cessna 152 ?? There's less legroom than a Air Transat Airbus and you would have a hard time fitting a PSP behind the seats..

A Cessna 152 is piston powered.....and carries about the same amount of gasoline as your average 1/2 ton pick up..
