I drove past this accident last night. The driver is VERY lucky to be alive. There wasnt much left of his bike afterwards. Initially when I saw the accident I was convinced that it was fatal.

Anyone know what happened?

Wow... could you imagine almost dying, then having the opportunity to experience life again?

In some strange way, he's lucky.

I was lookign at buyign a bike today..... bike against anythign though, bike loses. After all the close calls I've had because people can't seem to see my car, I can only imagine how invisible bikes are to most of the idiots out there.

Never like to see shit like that....

I saw the whole thing start to finish and it was pretty nasty. The guy on the bike was hauling ass towards the lights which were red so Im not sure if he was planning on running it or what. The truck was going through the intersection and the guy on the bike tried to stop. His tail end went in the air and he slid right in to the side of the Semi.He flew in the air and when he hit he was completely still I thought he was killed. He got away lucky it looked like a fatal accident to me.

Bikes are way more fun and addictive than cars. I used to love ricers and American muscle 4 wheelers till I got the bike. Since then, I only get behind the wheel if it's cold or snowing.

As for being invisible, yes, you are, and you just have to remember that at all times on the bike and you'll be fine. Don't put yourself in the position where a car could change lanes into you.
