Computer Freezes

My main computer freezes up right when I press the power button. It freezes at the very first screen when u push the power button. The hard drive light stays on and nothing else works. The reset button and power button don't work. I tried using other hard drives but still the same problem. This has happened to me before but last time I just left the computer not touched for a month and it worked after a month.

Probably a motherboard problem... Sounds like its freezing in the POST screen...
Could also be memory or processor...
Hard to diagnose over a forum.

Reset your CMOS and see what that does. Also check if the hardware is all nice and fitted.
