How to string together PDF's into one file?

I have Adobe Photoshop 6 and Adobe ImageReady. I've figured out how to scan individual pages and save them as PDF's but what i want to do is scan a whole essay and make it all one PDF file to include it in to my portfolio which will be done like a webpage.

Its gotta be pretty simple, does anyone know how to do this? I dont need any fancy effects, just the basics here.

You need Adobe Acrobat (not just the reader). If you want to send me your PDFs, I can put them together for you.
