I just thought that I'd chop them on there, and personally I dont like the look of the stock ones at all...
I think now that I have chopped them on I like the Euros much better.

That was the original plan... Hrm...
The bodyshop recommended against it because of the hassle of re-sealing them and making that seal firm... Anyone here think they could manage it?

when you tint or spray them aren't you supposed to spray the inside anyway??? but ye, i think you should tint either of them...but i liek the stock tails just the way they are...and it's true about the hassle of customizing the taillights...you need a lot of patience and make sure you're paying attention...TRUST ME!!! haha

I also agree that the Euros would look alot better if they were colored to match.

Why dont you use PS to make them red, then decide if its worth the hassle?

Here is my opinion.

Euros = rice, on the mustang they aren't as bad as other cars. If you were to smoke them, maybe they would look pretty sweet.

Stocks = If you were to put those stocks on and polish them up nicely with buffer and such :drool: They would look so good it wouldn't even be funny. It would be shiney and glossy liek the rest of your car, match up well if you ask me.

IMO i dont think they suit the car, maybe if they were color matched it would make a huge difference, but from what i see now, stock is the way to go, but thats just from my POV, so do what u want :thumbsup:

I really like the LX ones best though....

Just talked to the body shop guys (who had originally talk me out of it) and I am going to go with my initial plan of painting all the chrome on the insides body colour! Thats what I had originally planned on... thats what I'll do!

I have tried to photoshop them, can't really get them to look right... BUT I know it will be sick as hell when its done... and just in time for Driven To Preform.

I voted for stock aswell, but its your car, so why wouldn't you do what you want with it, the paint idea sounds good, that PS chop looks kinda bad, but I don't think you could do it right with without being a master pro at PS, I'm willing to bet your idea will look much better when done.

I'm not a fan of cars with anything extreme that looks outta place, thats why I went for stock, the euros just stick right out, but this custom job will make them suttle and blend in with the car, should look really nice and clean.

So my idea is not going to happen. The guys at the body shop tried heating them taillights in order to get the lens off, and even with a sufficient amount they could not get them to budge. They were afraid of using any more heat in case they warpped the plastic or broke something, better safe than sorry....

Member DuPont said that hes gonna take my old lights and fix them up really nice, and try some special new compounds out on them and tint out some of the parts. So we'll see what he comes up with... BUT...

your car already has enough done to it, the tezz lights just cheapen the rest of the work you did to the car.....i say stick to stock, or go with with the black headlight/tail light combo....the tezz lights just look way to busy, and tacky...even if you paint the chrome red it will still look way too loud....

I drove by your car today (In the NW, i won't say what area) this afternoon and i have to say, it looked really good, minus the tezzas.
There's been tons of work done to it, and the tezzas cheapen the look of it.
Just my suggestion, remove them, and maybe do something else w/ the stock lights (smoke or tint maybe?)
