its actually bent, like part of the rim is curved out away from the rubber, its visibly bent on one wheel

Ugh... AWR sucks. I hope you don't want your rims fixed properly, and in a timely manner.

No, but I betcha the white pages would have it.

And AWR is your only choice - no one else can fix it.

how do i make them pay for it??

One question, i wont have time to fix the wheel until next week, is it bad in the mean time to continue driving with it??

Problem is, they have somewhat of a monopoly here in calgary, as far as I know, it's the only place to get wheels repaired.

I had a wheel repaired there through Kal Tire (it was cracked when I bought the car), not 1 month later the same wheel wasn't holding air again, took it to Kal Tire and sure enough, cracked. Now, I baby my car like I'm sure we all do, never cracked a rim before, and to have the same one crack again that soon? Kinda suspicous. Kal Tire doesn't deal with AWR anymore b/c of too many problems. So they sent me there myself, I had to argue with him for 1/2 hour before he decided to fix it again, all I heard from him is that his work is guaranteed, I couldn't prove it was cracked in the same spot, low profile tires have rims crack all the time, and I'm just going to be back every month with a new cracked rim. Whatever. He tells me it will take 4 days. 4 days! 1 month, 4 weeks later, I get my wheel back.

So as far as rants go, it sucks that they are the only place to go, and it would seem that they take advantage of this fact by lets say "not so good" PR.

Santos or whatever his name is at Alberta Wheel Repair is a really reasonable guy, I've taken my rims there many times to be fixed and they always come back like new!!! Sometime's I'll get my wheels back in only a couple days!

^^^

Well thats good that there are some good things said about them. I'm guess I'm not totally bashing, only my experience was crap.

so is it bad for me to continue driving on the bent rim for a week or so? will it make it worse ?

Could bend the rim worse, and maybe fuck up your tire, depends how bad the bend is.
