I dont know what an oak tv is, this one is from the 80's though, its a sony. I dont know how many inches but not more than 20. It sucks though, especially because I live in a bit of a valley.

Ya, but is the process as easy as turning on a tv? Pricey?

Carfanman

I wouldnt pay for tv on my computer, because the quality probably sucks, and somehow I would guess its cheaper to buy a $5 (upper deck) ticket than to pay for the game on your computer, although I may be wrong.

I don't watch "live" TV anymore.

Everything is on my PVR so I can skip the ads.

For sports, I let the PVR pick up the 1st hour or so then I start watching, skip the ads and catch up.

But for shows like CSI etc, I download them in HD in Divx and either play it with my philips 642 or my PC connected to HDTV.

With TV torrents, I see no need to buy any of the services from HD providers.

I still watch tv yes, just standard cable, but I watch tv less frequently than I used to. Before, there were more shows on than I could tape. Nowadays, I'm just flipping through re-runs cuz the whole sit-com thing is obviously out, and the reality tv thing is overdone and has very little merit to it now than when it first began. When I think about it, I probably have my TV on more for playing back a DVD or for playing Xbox/PS2 more often than actually viewing cable.

I didn't have cable for the last nine months and now that I have it again I barely watch it. It feels like a waste of time now! I play more video games and movies than I watch tv.
