My seatbelt on the passanger side is not clipping into the seatbelt holster. Does anyone have one that I can purchase used or know where I can get one? BMW wants to charge over $200 for it with install and Im not prepared to pay that just yet.

There were a couple of late 80s bmw's at Pick N' Pull today. The seatbelt holsters should be pretty universal, I can't see them using entirely different units for every model.

Try Manchester Auto. If anyone has the the part it'll be them. They're still pretty expensive for used parts but they've almost always got what you're looking for.

Try some wd 40, its probably just jammed up cause its dried. I think the seatbelt holster is attached to the seat so its not universal.:)

I remember Honda doing for my civic for free, it's a safty issue and you should really consider talking to some one at BMW again. Tell them that you will talk to Transport Canada and that it's a safety concern, they should replace it in a heart beat. I am almost positive they will replace it for free.

^^ I dont believe most car manufacturers are like that though... Honda has a lifetime warranty on their seatbelts, thats why they do that.
