no its not written off, yea i just slid into a pole sideways, i'll try to get some pics of the undercarrage, the frame is bent a bit just to let you guys know, the body shop quoted $360 to fix the bent frame, but around 1000 for a new door and 1000 for a new rear quater panel.

i dunno how if these are easy to find used parts for, but if so, a used door and fender would do the trick and would be alot cheaper. good luck with the sale tho!

price has been dropped to $1399. It was $1995 but I need this car gone, I would like to buy a new car for summer.

not worth it thats why youre not getting any good hits on selling it...lower that price...thats alot of money for a sunfire thats screwed. lower that price then you might sell it!

I have already lowered the price $500 so far and the car is not screwed, everything on the car is still great cept for the door and back fender, I am going to lower the price a little at a time, if you dont have anything postive to say than just keep quiet, I know if I lower the price then I would get some hits but anyone who lowers a running car to like 500 is going to get bits.

I was giving you the idea...just a thought and that was positive as i was interested for the right price...i guess we'll wait...

well as for now the car is for sale at $1399 which is a drop from $1995, and I will give it a week or so at $1399 and see if I get any bits, and if not I might have to lower it agian.

Frame Damage and it's not written off? This car is just begging to be shipped to bucks auto or pick a part. You might as well part it out and drop the shell to an auto recycler.

I'm pretty sure that brining it to a auto wrecker is pointless, they rip you off hardcore and I have time to sell my car so I am not in a rush, plusits only $360 to fix the frame and if you can put a new quarter panel on and a door its a steal $2000 for a running 1998 sunfire? plus there are alot of people who need sunfire/cavalier parts so I can wait as long as it is needed to sell the car as a whole.

No what I meant was part it out. Get a couple grand for all the parts or more, and then when allyou got left is a shell, take that to the wreckers. Still sucks about the car though. I know what it's like having to stop driving your baby.

Bah, it's not that bad... just needs a little bondo...

But the frame can be fixed. I don't know how they do it, but they can... they did it for me when I merged with a tree.
