What computer should I get?

I want something that's fast so that I can maybe record music and do other stuff with music, play games once in awhile and basically never have speed issues. I'll be doing some school work and might end up playing with some photoshop stuff and digi cam pictures.

What's a good computer for me to get and give me some prices and program suggestions. Thanks!

I don't like Alienware because it is overpriced, and there is nothing special about them, you usually can get all the components and assembly it for less.

But laptops, that would be the only thing I would by I name brand.
