need info bout speakers!

Hi i was wondering if i dont want to put subs and an amp in my car but just want good speakers that would still give me good bass and quality!
which company should i look forward to! also my budget for 4 speakers is around 250 to 300$CAD!

i live in toronto

61/2inch rear speakers and 5 1/4 inch front

I'd say save your money and get something better. $300 for 4 speakers will not get you a whole lot, in terms of quality.

If you want great quality, go for Alpine or JBL. If you want good quality at a little lower price, go for Rockford Fosgate. When I was looking at speakers, I was interested in the Alpines or the RFs. When I listened to both of them, the RFs were a lot better. However, the Alpines might provide a better quality with lower bass levels. My sub drowns out any distortion from the speakers most of the time so it is not a big deal.

Mabye even Kicker speakers might be good too.

I agree with BumpinTalon. Save your cash, for some Infinity speakers. I've got them, and I think they sound great. You're not gonna get uber-bass out of 6.5's and 5.25's, but they will sound pretty good.

its going to cost alot more then $300 to get 4 alpine type R's. it cost like $240 ish just for a pair so approx $480 for 4
