AT 19:07 HRS, MAY 20, POLICE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES WERE
NOTIFED OF A SHOOTING AT THE TURBO GAS STATION LOCATED AT 44
ST AND 8 AVE SE.

ARRIVING AT THE SCENE, CREWS DISCOVERED A 19 YR OLD MAN
SEATED IN HIS CAR SUFFERING FROM GUNSHOT WOUNDS. THE VICTIM
WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE FOOTHILLS HOSPITAL WHERE HE HAS SINCE
DIED FROM HIS INJURIES.

INVESTIGATIONS TO THIS POINT REVEALED THAT A LONE GUNMAN
APPROACHED THE VEHICLE ON FOOT, FIRING SEVERAL ROUNDS. THE
CULPRIT THEN FLED NORTHBOUND IN THE ALLEY BETWEEN 44 ST AND
45 ST SE FROM 8 AVE SE WHERE IT IS BELIEVED HE ENTERED A
VEHICLE, POSSIBLY A RED MAZDA MX6 OR RX7.

THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS AN ASIAN MALE, WEARING A WHITE
HOODED SWEATER.

THE SHOOTING IS BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE HOMICIDE UNIT OF
THE POLICE SERVICE.

ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE WITNESSED THIS INCIDENT IS ASKED TO
CONTACT THE POLICE SERVICE OR CRIMESTOPPER AT 262-TIPS.

Calgary Emergency Medical Services responded a Paramedic Unit
to the Seven Eleven at 44street and 8th Avenue S.E. for a
gunshot incident. EMS transported one patient to the
Foothills Hospital. The following is an account of the
patients condition.

- Male Patient 19 years of age, with gunshot wounds to the
chest ,abdomen and arm. The patient was rushed to the
Foothills Hospital ER by Calgary EMS, in critical condition.

For example I go tonight wiht my gf and bro to a party cause her best freind is having it, was out of control, told a drunk dumbass to leave and just about started a fight. People just don't think these days, to make the factor worse,aparantly the dude has cancer, and is drinking, and does it quite often.

If your goto clubs for the music and to hang with freinds, why don't you buy some mix tapes or learn to use vinyl players and mix things for fun and have your buddies goto your house, much more controlled, no stupid shit, more fun then any full club with shootings and stabbings are...

What's really scary about it, is that it's like 2 blocks from my G/F's house... she lives on 44th. Not cool. Just a couple days ago, they busted a crack house for the second time in a week, just off 47th street, and now this. Forest Heights used to be a rather friendly, quiet neighborhood. It has really gone downhill.

While it is still horrible and no person deserves it no matter what they did keep in mind he was a drug dealer and was targetted by people in the same career. It is sad, it is horriffic for the families invovled, but it was a risk he knew he was taking when he chose that way for a lifestyle. Im not trying to come off as a heartless guy but in this case for sure, as well as a lot of the time, theres more involved than what the news will show.

I'd have to agree, I feel sorry for the family and relatives and himself as that si no way to go, but in a way I don't feel sorry for him as that is what he choose to do with his life and death was a risk he took.

I'm not saying he went around starting fights and shit, I know tons of funny guys but they are involved in the wrong things. You don't drive up to a gas bar, get shot more then 3 times in a one of a kind car and have nothing stolen from you for no aparant reason.
