I have another question perhaps one of the forum members may have an answer to or at least direct me to the source.

Some residential streets that are located in commercial areas have limited hours for parking in the day. It is usually in the 1-2 hour range. If you are a homeowner and your property happens to land on one of these streets, is it possible to get a pass which would allow you to park all day without risking having your car towed? After all this is in front of your house! And some of these properties don't have a garage and parking in the rear or side is not an option. If so, is there a number to call?

I know that you can get a pass from the city if you own the property, I have seem them. Places like somewhere close to a high school or close to downtown areas have those, its a pieces of paper you tape on your window. But i have no idea where to call and get them...
