Top Gear --> New Series...

Don't know when Top Gear is aired in Canada. But it's on 8PM here on Sundays.
Just a heads up to all you Top Gear fans, the new series started last night.
Let's see if I can remember what they had...
They tested the Mercedes-Benz CLS 55 (looks bloody mean before it goes in to hammerhead while it's breaking :drool: )
Ummm... they had the new Range Rover Sport (VS. fastest tank in the world).
A Toyota Aygos (new one) which was ok looking (they played football with a whole bunch of them).
Emmm... I can't remember the rest, but it was a good one!!
Oh they had the Honda Element too.

this series looks wicked. Don't miss the start a whole load of clips of whats to come (ie. SLR, TVR Sagaris, Nurburgring chick does a lap in a van faster than one of the Top Gear guys and a TONS MORE!!!!)

And I just finished watching the finale for Fifth Gear (for the series) - should be able to download it tomorrow. Tested BMW M5, high rollers auto show and cheap MG Rovers!
They said next series they will have hour long shows, thank god!! 1/2 hour is nothing.

Been apart of FinalGear before they changed their name, pretty sweet little forum and collection of torrents for the show, once I get my other HDD back I plan on finishing my exsist collection for the prvious years and adding the new ones I got on my Laptop.

Top Gear owns Fifth Gear if you ask me. Personal opintion though.

I've personally been a fan of Top Gear for years, even more of a fan now that I'm able to digitally archive the shows on my computer thanks to the link I posted. I've just recently started to watch Fifth Gear, not a bad show, and I get some serious wood watching Vicki Butler Henderson do her stuff.

A bastardized edited version is also going out on Discovery now - I think it's Thurs and Sun nights? But they edit out any stuff americans won't get, like the news, star in reasonable car, battle of the 1.3Ls etc.

All I can say is the woman likes top gear too and so we watch em at dinner. :D

haha and it takes a while to figure out how to open the damn door too. I think it was one of the episodes where they would give money to a guy who could figure out how to start the TVR in under a min. and nobody could pull it off.

^Yeah, the door button was under the wing mirror and stuff. What really bugged me is that they never did show us how to actually start it.

didnt they show how to start the Sagaris? Atleast I thought they did... it shoud be the same way shouldnt it?

They showed us how to open the door from the inside on the Sagaris (hella hot car, BTW), and we got to see the guages before startup, but they never actually explained what was so hard about starting the thing.

Yea I just watched it again... it looks like he started it by just turning the key on the right side... maybe it's different from the others? :dunno:
