help with a 1990 chrysler tape deck

My moms tape deck doesn't work anymore, so i was just going to buy another Chysler deck off ebay. What i need to know is up to what year is the 1990 mini-van deck compatible with. I know after some year Chysler changed the mounting brackets and wiring.

Hopefully Jeff Type R can help me, i know he loves mini-vans. :D

You might be in luck. My friend just installed a deck into his 91 Dakota (I think it's the same deck). For some reason it's a Chrysler deck (same company and all, but weird none the less). I am crossing my fingers he kept his factory deck and it will fit. I just tried to call him right now. I'll keep you posted! :D

Ya well I just talked to him, and he's being a fag; he said he "might be able to part with it for a price". Considering the install shop would give him 2 bucks and a kick in the ass for it. Hopefully it will be like 20 bucks, but maybe he will stop being a fag and it will be free.

The good thing is he has it :D
