When building a new Casino in Vegas it is sometimes cheaper to start from scratch (You'll notice he left the hotel part).

Just like anything else - you can spend 100K renovating your house, or build another on the same lot for 120K. Which do you choose?

Whoever bought it would most likely blow it up anyway. That's how things go in Vegas...you can't claim the newest, greatest and latest in vegas if it's a reno.
