Red Cars

so i'm thinking about buying a 93 318is. found one that has low mileage and is in awesome shape. only thing though is it is red. i've never been keen on the color red for cars but am willing to make an exception.

what does everyone else here think about the color red for cars?

:thumbsup: I like red cars, I was actually considering buying red when I got my new car but opted for silver. Red will always be one of my top choices. Just take pride in your ride and keep it clean and you should always be happy with the way the colour looks :thumbsup:

red is a very traditional "sport" car color. It's the color of adreniline! however, my experience of red cars through friends is that it gets dirty easily if not treated right, and any scratches are more visable.. otherwise, it's great!

To me the best colour all depends on the car, I do think most the time red is nice, and does look good on BMWs, just keep it clean and maybe mod the car abit to give it a cleaner/sleeker look, also if your not a 100% on it, maybe get a very light second coat of a certain colour over the top and give it a really nice unique look, or change to a nice dark candy apple red :drool: .

In my experience a red car has been bad luck, but it's your choice. You can always repaint the mofo.

I think you gotta love....I mean seriously love the car your gonna buy. And that means everything about it, clearly your not liking the red, so hold out till you can get it in another color. Aprehension while making a large purchase usally turns into regret.

i really like the car but i'm not too fond of the color. i know i'll for sure end up regreting buying it cuz of the color.

jet black is my colour choice, but i settled for red. its a long story.
