I have a 98 Neon and am looking 4 a body kit. I'm leaning more towards an Evo kit but would like suggestions.

oh my sweet lord, if that is your car in your avatar, blow it up.
hopefully its not. you should just SLAM IT, no kit.

Or you can spend about 30 and get an SRT4..

Don't listen to the haters. I think the Zenon kit looks the best for a 1st gen neon.
but you should think about lowering it and putting wheels on it first, before you even consider a kit.

Bunch of haters in here, atleast I'm not trying to be like everybody else and goin out and getting a Honda, there's way too many of those out there and they all look the same. Be original and not like everybody else people. Anyways, I just asked a simple question and wanted some input. I'm gonna lower my car and put rims on it first before I get a kit.

Lets not start wars here, as much as many of you don't like neons, he does have the right to mod his car, anyway, I'd say after lowering and rims, you should look into either a paint job, or get a kit that is very subtle, nothing extreme, just find something that flows with the lines of the cars, or sink thousands into the engine and have a nice sleeper:D .

and be nice, I'm a Honda owner now :)

He has the right to modify his neon like a woman has the right to get an abortion. Though they are both legal, either one will end up with protests happening as they are both a controversial subject.

(the last 2 kits that i have seen requires lots of body work but that would be a general comments for Andy Sport kits - maybe they have improved?!?)

Actually I think most of us don't recomend a body kit for any neon :dunno:

(the majority of cars with body kits look tacky anyways)

Most likey you will grow out of the ricer stage (don't worry everyone goes through it) and realize that most cars look better without body kits, and at that time you will wish you spent your ~$2000 on something else. So evaluate your decision carefully.

Not a 1st gen, but putting the kit on my 2nd gen completed the void.

I think its clean, and flows well with the car. Flame on if you must.
