2000 Golf

I am about to have a 2000 golf in my hot little hands around Tuesday. Does anyone know what speaker sizes are set standard in a 2000 Golf? I need to know if my 6x9's will fit, or if I should sell them with my old car.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

the golf has component speakers, front and back.

I know, but what size? 6x9? 5x7?

"component speakers" meaning tweaters and mid range.

the oem speaker is 6.75" (round) but you can replace them with 6.5" if need be.
