Yeah. How much do new tires cost, usually? (Lookin' for range, not average.)

Wal-mart 14" = 60 a tire
Midrange 14" = 80-100 depending on brand/design
Performance 14" = 100-200 same as above


Go used, look in the marketplace. you can save a ton.

A set will run you between $320 and $450 depending on the Tire. Never pay retail for tires!!!

call this guy angus macneil.... he does all the tires at race city for racers. He got me on a set of pirelli diablo corsa's.

616-2911. You can tell him Nick "The Dyno Guy" sent you... but i think he only does higher performance tires.

Take the bike section in the yellow pages and call the bike shops about them. There are always some on sale at some shop, and unless you want a certain brand because some big fart racer was using it on his big fart bike and you wanna be as big fart cool as him, you should be able to get tires for pretty cheap.
