Looking to rent a car for travel out of province soon and was wondering what the best/cheapset car rental company is and where i can find the best deals. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

I've found that Thrifty usually has some great prices, plus you get Aeroplan points too. Are you 25 or older? If not they'll charge you extra or not even rent to you.

Nice, I'm assuming that they are in the car at the same time.

Give Thrifty a call. I usually compare them to Budget. There are times that Budget has some amazing prices and also times that they are out to lunch.

I've never had any luck with Enterprise or Hertz. They alway come back as the most expensive out of the bunch.

Budget rents out the Town Car...and for your needs listed it will prolly be your best bet. Just make sure thet whoever the car is rented under is the driver...and list ALL addtional drivers...cause if anything were to happen and someone else is driving there will be some shitty consequences...

Or IIRC I think it was enterprise Hertz started renting out the new Chrysler cross-over vehicles...not quite car, but not quite van either...check them out...

Most places will have the standard:

Ford Taurus
Dodge Intrepid

These will be your full sized cars. You can go a bit bigger and go after the Lincoln Town Car.

I would recommend giving Avis a call. They have unlimited km's, usually a free weekend day etc. etc.

My bf and I always receive really good deals from them, but it may be because we have rented over 12 cars from them over the past 4 years lol.

Worth giving them a call though
:)

budget also offers unlimited kms, and our weekend special is 19.95/day unlimited

Doesn't the body shop offer you a courtesy car? When I have my car in the body shop, my insurance company sends me to Enterprise. Not sure if its possible if you are repainting it on your own but you may want to check. :dunno:
