my apologese (sp?) if this was already posted...but has anybody seen madagascar yet? How was it...I've read a few reviews and they said that the movie sucks...

I saw it on Friday. It was okay I guess, but it wasn't really as funny as I had expected!

I also saw last saturday night at the Imax at chinook. It was pretty decent, but definately it could of been better. It was pretty short like only 86 minutes or something like that.

yeah i thouht i was pretty short too, it had it's moments but overall only an okay movie for me. my two boys(2&4) lost interest, good thing it was almost over when that happened.

It was ok, I think it was shorter than I expected, but that might have been because I fell asleep 20 mins in to the movie...and woke up when they arrived on the island with those little guys singing and stuff...the rest was just a struggle to finish really. More like a Saturday cartoon or a feature before the real movie than a movie in itself imo...

Man, I don't know what you guys are talking about. I thought this movie was fucking hilarious. Especially david schwimmer playing the part of the giraffe.

to be honest, i could bairly handle this movie at some points. it was too much. i burst out laughing and disturbed people around me on more than one occasion. i loved it. i think it might be the first movie in a long time that i buy. I really think it works well for some people, others not so much. luckily for me it was well worth the 21 bucks (for 2).
