I bought this car a month ago giver take from someone on here which they were selling for a friend. I bought the car and took it to saskatchewan to get plates there instead of paying to much insurance here. Saskatchewan is one of the hardest inspection agencies around and of course they FAILED THE CAR ...i can't remember everything but here's just a quick list....
TRANNY, ALL TIE RODS, BOTH WHEEL BEARINGS (HUB) , ALL BRAKES, ROTORS, WHEEL ALIGNMENT, ENGINE SEALS, OIL CHANGE, HEADLIGHT BULB, CV JOINTS, PLASTIC GUARDS (ENGINE)
I can't remember everything but thats just some. As im from saskatchewan i knew a cheaper shop to get all the work done but still cost me $2800 cash in repairs just for the inspection to pass. Thats not including the tranny and all the work here in alberta. The tires that came with the car were snow tires but had a recall on them of which i need the reciept or have them sent to ontario for checking on warrentee status. So i have put 17"inch rims on is that i bought used for $1000 with tires.
So down to the hard part "The Price" Well when i bought the car the guy who was selling it i belive was at $5700.00 with all the problems. Now this car is 100% mechanical and sound and would drive it anywhere. I have alot into this car and really would like to get a honda civic really so trades are very possible!!!! lets start at $9000.00obo
