The EquAzn

^jepree all my buddies from peg have told me about your crew. you guys ever record any tracks?

jepree
06-09-2005, 02:10 PM
i busted live with them but they did there own tracks got a buch actualy and they are sick!
-g-crew brakada
-portage and main
-peg city
and a bunch more
ask your buddy if he know my crew C.C.S. ?

The EquAzn
06-09-2005, 02:13 PM
I've never heard Brakada before, sounds familiar - Allen (b-boy) might have told me about them i think. Maybe you know him?

My opinion
Influencial meaningful lyrics are the most important - why make a song about nothing?
My biggest problem is that everyone wants to hear me battle and diss some unfortunate soul, but when I ask them to listen to my written song about poverty/classism/society - they walk away.

The best emcee can move a crowd, but keep them listening.

skandalz
06-09-2005, 02:15 PM
jepree, CCS? yeah i'll ask him... you know a guy named mark s. from peg? he was at DTP, got killed in the first round though

The EquAzn
06-09-2005, 02:16 PM
yeah that guy from Winnipeg was really cool guy - he was actually off the top too.

jepree
06-09-2005, 02:19 PM
thats how i feel bro all the way,
i used to love freestylin but everyone cuts me off on my credibility because i dont like to battle, i assure you i got sick leryics but whos to listen to them! i moved here from winnipeg told them i freestyle beat box the whole nine yars and the first word out of there mouthes are BATTLE? kinda wasnt feelin that.
Peirce a mans heart and he dies forever, Move a mans heart and his soul will forever walk with you, but which do whe choose!

skandalz
06-09-2005, 02:19 PM
yeah he's got skill too, i guess just not a battle mc.

The EquAzn
06-09-2005, 02:39 PM
as much as battling is a part of hip hop culture - it needs to stop sometimes.

Can't we just enjoy our craft without having to defend or prove ourselves?

damn... I better do some work today haha, I hope to see you guys at the show tommorrow, come introduce if you can (I don't know what you guys look like)

see ya.
