subie rs or mitsu lancer

hey guys.. i need help on pickin a car.. what are the good and the bads or both of these cars..
the mitsubishi o.z. lancer and the subaru impreza 2.5 rs..

I'd go with the Impreza.

well that's a pretty easy choice.

The lancer is lighter and cheaper, those are the only benefits. The OZ package is just a superficial upgrade.

The 2.5 rs (ts would be closer to the price of the lancer) has a superior suspension, AWD, is safer and outpowers the lancer by 45 HP and 35 tq, both of which come earlier in the RPM range.

Its extremely reliable, AWD, good stopping power, respectable handling, very torquey moto. Its a pretty tough machine to beat in its price bracket. All depends on what you are looking for really. I'd definetly recommend driving both. Who knows, you might like the lancer more.

No, I really meant what I said - test drive both back to back and go for the one you like best. :) The Lancer doesn't have AWD so that's a big disadvantage for sure... :poosie:

Yeah, I was just kidding.....I just know how "pro-mitsu" you are....(actually all the DSM guys..)

IMO, the RS is the better car in this case. I used to have a legacy, my sister has an impreza, and my dad has an outback. Great cars IMO.
