Hey I have for sale a converter that turns your PATA hard drive into one that plugs into a SATA connector. If you have an old drive, but want to use it in you SATA mobo, this is what you need. I just purchased it today, but I thought it went the other way around so I now have no use for this.
20 obo (memexpress sells it for around 50)

That would usually be a PCI SATA card. But one of these might work, don't see why it wouldn't. I would try it sometime but I don't actually have any SATA hard drives.

As far as i know, they don't make one that goes the other way around..

Heh... I know how I can test it... I've got two of these things... I'll try mb->sata converter-->sata converter-->ATA harddrive. :)

bump, take it for 10 bucks, its really useful for newer mobos if you want to run an old drive in RAID or something
