It's hailing!!!!!! And my car is outside. Damn Calgary weather!

holy! it's some crazy stuff happening out there right now! I'm downtown as well, and it's hailing lil pellets. and HARD rain too.

Man, I had to walk to work today, home road (I think), to market mall and it started raining HARD five minutes before I left, needless to say Im pretty wet.

:werd: nothing at all now! weird. when it was pretty bad earlier i looked out my window onto 5th ave and 1st st, i saw a grey delorean going pretty slow down the avenue..... cool car.

Just heard on the radio all the underpasses under 9th ave are being closed off due to flooding! :eek: Hopefully it clears soon!

No shit, it's was 18 and sunny during lunch. I'm not surprise many leave their top down.

Most of it hit the downtown core.
Along Crowchild trail, patches of dry pavement.
It sucked being downtown, I went into Subway for a couple minutes and it just started pouring.

I heard on the radio (CJ 92) that the Husky building got struck by lightning!! Some girl called in and said that there was police, firetrucks, EMS there.

I guess the bottom of the building got hit!

I was merging onto deerfoot from Glenmore on my way home and I saw some crazy sunfire do a complete 180 degree turn in the middle lane of deerfoot (hydroplaned) missed smashing into the concrete barrier by about two feet and somehow manage to swing his car around facing the right way again. What's even more surprising is that with a packed deerfoot no one got hit! Them bridges be slippery I think....

That first thunder struck that came around the NW was freaking LOUD, all we saw at the shop ws light, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

thank god my car was at home in the garage today.

and our office storm drain system backed up and flooded back out the make up air units, spilling water on a bunch of people drawings and computers :thumbsdow
