is it true that if you are the primary driver on a car, that it is cheaper insurance if you are living by yourself compared to if you are living with your parents? (because you are not depending on your parents)

i was considering moving out and i heard that car insurance might be cheaper this way.....???

It can be true i think in some instances because your insurance company takes into account that your parents might take your car once in a while if you live at home.
