whats causing this...........

ok so i had a burnt out drivers side head light, so i decided to replace both the head lgihts but when i pulled out the drivers side head light it was hard to get out. upon getting it out i looked into the blue connecter, and it looked like one of the pronges from the burnt out light had fused or burnt into the connecter. now the new bulb is really dim, but the passenger side is as bright as can be. any ideas of what could be causing this and/or ways to correct this. thanx.

Probably a dirty or corroded connection. Try getting something like a file and scrape away any dirt or corrosion. This way you get better contact. I'm not sure if it'll help either but you can buy some electrical contact cleaner from Canuck Tire and spray it on.

go to the junk yard and cut off a connector?

yeah i'll try filing the gunk out and if that fails ill just have to go buy a new connecter. thanks guys if you think it may be something else feel free to post as well. thanks.
