Three Chimes

Hey gang....anybody know what it means when your BMW chimes three times while you are driving? I couldn't figure it out...no warning lights came on or anything...just chimed three times then....zilch....

Didn't notice any difference during my drive either...so...any clue?

I heard that a few times, it was a warning that the exterior temp was below 3C.

As soon as you hear the chimes, look down at the message center and you shoudl be able to see waht it is.

I checked the display, nothing there not to mention I have heard the chime for 3 degrees before and that wasn't it. Also, it was not 3 degrees this morning...so.....it was something else.

check the time in your car.....if there is a little horn thingy displayed after the time then its your alarm.....sounds stupid but when we bought our car three beeps would go off at about every hour....lol
