Spotted: RHD Nissan S-Cargo

Wow! I dont know if it's been posted on beyond yet, but I had my first encounter with a RHD Nissan S-Cargo today (on 11th Ave SW)!

The car looked flawless, and had alberta plates, and a tunerworks license plate frame! :thumbsup:

Actually.. this car would definately be a good head turner.. good for companies that wanna make good of advertisements, that's for sure.

looked like it had rims too, very clean! the dude looked over at me, but missed my :thumbsup:

If its the same one, I've seen that car parked in Citadel in NW Calgary. Definitely an eye catcher!

yeah i've seen that thing before going up and down country hills blvd by the hamptons co-op and citadel. i saw him get pulled over once before too :D think the cop just wanted to see what the hell kinda car it was.

I've talked to the owner of the tan/pea-soup colour S-Cargo (the one with rims and is in the NW); spotted him at a Safeway parking lot. He's acutally the owner of JNS Imports. Very nice guy to talk to; offered to let me look inside the car too, but I didn't want to delay his grocery shopping and I've already seen one back in 1992.

Is the car slow? Probably, because it's got a similar engine to the 1988 Sentra. I think it's a 1.5L SOHC 8v with a carb. Only one tranny was offered - 3 speed auto. Having owned a Sentra with a similar combo (1.6L EFI 8v + auto) back in the day, it certainly didn't get me anywhere quick.

But, having said all that, I'd still want to have one - and maybe do a SR20DET transplant from the Bluebird SSS! :)
