Peachfest

Anybody on here had any good times at Peachfest in the summer? I've heard some great stories about it from others but when I do some research on it, it sounds like a family carnival with clowns running around everywhere.

So what's it really like?

Shit, I've been there every year for the last couple of years. I look forward to it more than Christmas.

And really now, think about it, do you really think that internet pages about Peach fest is gonna advertise the debauchery that happens there?

Peachfest is more like Spring Break in Cancun than Disneyland.

I've been to one,..Sooo many nice cars there...Sooo many hotties, Sooo much stuff to do... I went home with a hangover, sunburn, and a cooler full of fruit :thumbsup: I'm looking forward to this years trip...i hope the 'ol civic is ready to make the trek

I had been on last year wit Sliver_SpecV. ain't no one sober no time 'n' they's mad hoes erry where you goes. 'N' it were madd hot to. Cats were sayin' thangs like +41C, but that's kinda safe still.

Peach fest is pretty sweet, except its getting pretty crowded. Its really not so much clowns and carnivals, the carnival really blows, and most of the people just get high or drunk on the beach at night...but either way its fun. But ya, fun, relaxing time for most, just dont get into arguments with strangers, because it seems like the testosteron levels of the locals are off the charts during this week, and people get really stupid (violent).

I was actually planning to head down to penticton with a few buddies over the break, thanks for the tips.

Any ideas on where to stay? Are hotels like non existant (according to expedia)

i go every year, fuckin amazing cars, girls pull you over while you driving and then you party with them at night on the beaches, age group from 16-26 EVERYONE is young and all the hotels are booked with ppl that wanna party, i cant wait for this year:D :D :D

i have gone for the last 7 years it used to be better they used to have peachy keen 72hour rave at same time and rock fest but that moved but yea just think of flashing titties and skinny dipping drunk and you are picturing the right thing. The population of the town triples and the hotels are prolly all booked already lots of people park and sleep in their cars if they have to, kelowna also is good and hosts thunderfest at same time.

that is the family version you will not see the university students and college kids battling it out in a marching band contest trust me. It is a party town all summer but august long weekend is nuts.

Yeah me and a bunch of buddies looked into it and you will not find anywhere to stay. Anything somewhat decent has been booked since spring.

Ha ha, yeah that's probably true. Fortunately I have relatives within the area:thumbsup:

If I didn't have a place to stay by now I would just set up a tent on the beach somewhere and use a hotel with a swimming pool as my place of shower/washroom. Unless the po-po don't allow camping on the beach at night:dunno:

Well I guess I have recently learned that Peachfest is the weekend after the long weekend. I'm just going to go out there and check the scene out for myself as I hear many things from many people. It all depends on who you are with, but feel free to come out for the Beyond meet if you are looking for people to kcik it with.

Police get pretty anal about all the quebec'rs who go out there and just camp and random places. They have simlar park rules to us out here. Camping on a beach is pretty unlikly to go threw with it, and if u say "i'm drunk i cant drive" type thing, they wont hessitate to toss you in the tank, trust me :rofl:

Yeah that's what I kind of figured, although I'm sure tons of people try it each year. However there are tons of places to camp close by if you don't mind being creative with you location. If it were me I would just walk up the hill a bit to the thicker tree covered forest and set up there.

Just rent a van and sleep in it. Thats what a couple of my buddies did 2 years ago and they were fine.
