Wow, that is very sleek looking! Is that the confirmed production look? When would it be coming?

Still just a concept picture but apparently its really close to what the production will look like, I'm guessing the headlight design and grill/hood will be changed but who knows!?
Expected Release is next summer in the US.

I love the headlights, if they change the hood it will be one of my favorite cars, I really hope they keep those aggressive headlights. It's hard to tell but the seats look different as well. Sweet, the first pics I saw of the car I didn't really like.
The nose is F1 influence, kinda like the new Ferrari and some of the SL kits I've seen, I think lorinser, ohh, it's from the SLR concept.

The rear of the car looks awesome. I'm not a fan of the front though.

My guess is the same as current model prices. MB is pretty good at keeping prices the same even when introducing new models.

The headlights remind me of the Lexus ES 300 for some reason.

I agree, I like the SLR as well though and I think it has the same F1 style nose, I think the ferrari looks like ass because of the nose too, I'm a fan of the headlights though! I agree, the lights are styled like an ES, but nothing else is similar to that car.

Rumors from a year ago says the car comes with a 375hp 3.0L 24V V6 (brand new). Not sure how true this will be since the N/A non AMG version of this mystery motor (or any of the new 4 valves) have yet to appear.
There's also new rumors from the German AMG club saying that the V8 Kompressor's going in... 500hp...

Doesn't that kinda mess up the weight distribution?

I like how MB is converting over to projector lights, but damn I'm not liking the front end that much.

The V8 doesn't weigh much more than the V6. Brabus proved this with their V8 SLK a few years back which had 53/47 weight distribution.

There was a site a while ago where someone actually broke into the garage where the prototype was stored, took off all the camoflauge and snapped pics, but Mercedes-Benz threatened them and took the site down. Too bad I never saved a copy of those pics...
Here's some other pics:

Lets hope it doesn't get this BMW 7 series styled trunk:

nice but I don't like big headlights

Heh funny. For some reason it makes me think of Honda Integra (RSX for you North Americans) at that first pic. Funny how the headlights look like a 50/50% mix between Peugeot 206 and Ford Focus. Focus is sharper and Peugeot is too slanted, but that car has the exact mid-way.
The profile picture loks a lot like a boxster I think.
As for looks? Looks a little bit more attractive than before.
