Alright I'm tryin to make plans today but I have no idea what the hell is going on with the weather. I looked outside to check but I can't see anything, its just gray... I can't even see the north tower on Sunlife, and I'm in the west tower (maybe 40 feet away). is it rainin hard or snowing or hailing or what?

yeah it is foggy out there .....I am in the TeLUS TOWER Downtown and it looks like it is going to snow...this weather is now getting to me...I was planning on giving the car a good exterior polish and the whole works but the way things are I will have to wait for awhile.
I hope it passes over soon I am in need of some serious sun power. no snow though...knock on wood

Do people not read the weather report? This isn't supposed to just be an afternoon of cloud and drizzle. We're supposed to get several (50-80) mm more of rain from now until the end of Saturday. It isn't a huge surprise, they've been telling us about this for days. Sunday is supposed to be 13 and sunny.

I don't know what is going on. It's all cloudy and raining here in BC and in the middle of June we are usually into full sunny days by now...weird...
I've heard some people blame it on the tsunamis? :dunno:

From what I can remember from watching the weather channel this morning, it's basically shitty and rainy from Kelowna to Regina. Edmonton and Red Deer are supposed to be catching this same shitty weather too. Calgary and Souther Alberta are supposed to be catching the worst of it.

That stuff is awesome. When you are traveling at 100km you don't even need the wipers. The water just rolls right off the windshield. And when going slow it just beads up nicely and wipes away really nice. I love the shit!

holy shit did medicine hat take a shit kicking. buildings collapsed today from the weight of the rain we got in aprox a half hour, one was a auto shop and the lifts and all vehicles inside are crushed, not to mention the hail that fucked everyones vehicles, good thing my celica isn't painted yet I got a couple dings myself even under like 20 blankets.

May not necessarily be the windows. Could be the seal around the windows, or a cracked foundation (which sux to fix). Besides, if you get those windows you'd never be able to open those windows ever again.

I've got squelching carpets all over downstairs now. it is going to be a pain in the ass to dry. they have pumps all over cochrane tryin to get the water into places it will drain, the park out back of our house is underwater, the bow river is wayyyy bigger then I have EVER seen it, a good bit cochrane ranch's parking lot is underwater (about three and a half feet at the deepest) and so on..

You fuck it right up if you use the wipers too much though - say, after a few mud splashes.

Not a chance, I put some on about two weeks ago and it is still helping. And that's after many days of rain. I put two coats on and it does last.

Looks like the city will introduce a Stage 4 water restriction, the highest level. Demand is 450 mega litres...Supply is only 360 mega litres.

http://www.gov.calgary.ab.ca/citybeat/public/2005/06/release.20050619_184220_5914_0

Limit your water consumption at all costs.

BerserkerCatSplat

Wow, Stage 4, that's nuts.

Good thing I already have a supply of water in containers, it'll make water conservation a lot easier.
