hey,

lately I have been thinking about selling the civic I have. here are the states:

honda civic coupe dx
65xxx km on it
body is in perfect condition
is all stock
no stains or rips in the interior , so its mint

There is only a few problems, it has been in 2 accidents. the first one my brother rear ended someone and the headlights, and the radiator had to be replaced, and hood had to be replaced than the second one my brother hit a pedestrian island (don't ask me how) and ripped out the transmission pan and the whole transmission had to be replaced. I am hopping for at least $9000 if i do decide to sell it. so what do you guys think it will run for.

You know how people get so anal and worked up over the fact that the car has been in an accident, well times that by two now!

What year is the civic? That doesn't sound like too bad of a price

its a 1998. well it used to be his car but his insurance is extremely high and there are a few accidents still going through with the insurance company. Ya, max i know what you mean. Thats why I probably won't sell it.

meh if i do decide to sell it and I can get $9000 or more i will probably pick up a 95 240sx, 1994 celica gt-s or a 1991 mr2 turbo. But I might just keep the civic and put racing seats in it, more upgrades to the sound system, exhust, rims and a few exterior touch ups than I will just pick up a 89 240sx and make that my project car. All depends on what happens in the next 5 months.

If you plan on driving in the winter then 2 of those cars aren't a very good choice (specially the sw20)

And 6th gen celicas are pretty hard to find (i think its 6th gen)

actually from what ive heard from my friends the mr2 isnt that bad in winter cause of the weight distribution. and a good set of snow tires and your on your way:thumbsup:

what do you mean? the car is close to 5 years old man...thats like 13000 a year, which is way below average...it may not seem like it, but 1998 was A LONG TIME AGO...

even if it was only 4 years old...26000km/yr isn't that bad...I have seen cars come into the dealership that are 2000's and have over 100000 on them.

ya its a automatic (meh). There are just so many cars out there I would rather want besides a civic coupe. like the cars i listed above and before if i was going to get a civic it would be a EK hatchback. Meh I have lots of plans I can do if I decide to keep it.
