I'm not sure if this is in the right place or not but I hope it is.

Last night a friend of mine blew that back tire of his old Honda Moped, then he decided to ride around on the rim till that collapsed on him and he had to walk it back about 4 kilometers. Long story short he didn't want it anymore and gave it to me.

As far as I know all it needs is a new back tire and a new spark plug but I dont know what size/kind for either. I hope there are some people on this board that know about mopeds and can help me out. On the side of the gas tank it says "Honda Paso" and I searched a bit on google but didn't come up with anything.

Please help me out here guys this thing would be fun to get back up and running. As I sit now I don't know where to begin :dunno:

Also try beginnerbikers.org, they still have a lot of knowledgable people there if not so many in the scooter/moped section.

Find VIN code here: http://www.jacksscootershop.com/honda_VIN.html
This will help you with the next page. http://www.bobscycle.com/AP/AP.CROSSREF.MC.HONDA.HTML provides, partway down the page, a required sparkplug and tire sizes for all years of PA50s. Get the tires at any store that sells moto tires; they're small so they'll probably be inexpensive. You'll need a tube as well, because you have spokes. As for the sparkplug, select it based on the year from your VIN code.

I know shit-all about scooters but my google-fu is furious.
