Q: Platnum or not, don't you think $75k is rediculous even if it is the only one? I mean, if you buy the knob, does it come with a free car?
Jun-15-05
A: The knob comes with a certificate of authenticity, this will assure only one will ever be made by TWM Performance...and no free car included :)

As soon as I read the article thats exactly what I was thinking. 99% of people wouldn't even know it was special. Looks like a brushed titanium knob...

Unless it adds 500hp and 10pts on the mack-o-meter its definitly a HUGE waste of money. But i can see it on the next MTV cribs. "And this is my beamer with 22's and a platinum shifta"

for platinum this metal looks very plain, If I choose to spend 75k on a shift knob this damn thing better be blinging that everyone and their dog can see it. If I went into a freinds car and they had this knob I will not even know it is platinum till they say something.....Does not surprise me though Master P has a line of Rims now and a couple of days ago on BET he was saying a set of one of his rims cost $250,000.00. Why you asked .......well the rims has diamond studs all over it....my question what happens when you hit a pot hole and one happens to fall.

The unique qualities of Platinum help make it the most functional shift knob available anywhere.
Uh...what? How would being made of platinum make it any more functional? It's just a shift knob, for crying out loud...

thats way to much for me. I was at tunerworks and they had these 24's in that were gold plated. They said it cost them $16,000 and i was like...umm thats alot of engine work that I could have done with that money
