Just wondering if pick your part buy's whole cars? Reason being I'm about done with my civic, I should have my new car back from the shop soon and need to get rid of the other one. As some of you may know, the civic (92/5spd/ 4 door is running on 3cyl's (runs great for the condition it is in though, I use it every day all day in the range of 200kms+/week) theres 322k on it now I believe maybe 323, can't remember right now, but there was 305k on it when the cylinder went out, my guess is burnt exhaust valve... A little about it, incase someone here wants it for a few bux...

It was rear ended before so thats crumpled in.

Put it in the ditch last yr, so theres a brand new unpainted front bumper...

Inside isn't bad, a little dirty, but other than that all controls work..

Theres also some other crap like,

Drivers inner door handle is broken, have to pull the handle rod to get out, the outer rear drivers door handle is broken can't get in from the outside.

Passenger wiper is broken, I just put some tape on it to slide across the winsheild, Which is also cracked to hell...

Front drivers window doesn't go up and down straightly, kind of have to hold it while winding it up.. All other glass is fine...

Drivers seat is ripped up some, rest of the seats are good...

The battery light is on very lightly, at night you can see it, not sure if the idle is set low or what exactly causes that, starts ok, runs all day like I said..

Rad is good, rad cap is chewed up..

Cars from Nova Scotia so it is rusty..

Brand new exhaust from the cat back last fall.. 2 inch possibly 2 1/4..No muffler included....

umm what else.. I tell my friends I wish I had the time and money just to see if I could drive this back to NS, I'm confident the thing would do it, but it needs to go... Only reason I'm giving it up is it will never be up to alberta standards again, and I have had to change my lisence and insurance over so it was just as easy to get a new car...

It's slow and lacks power now, deerfoot is about all she'll do.. ~120km/h or so.. (caused by running on 3clys)

Battery is still strong

2 front tires are ok, rears are dead retreads... 4, 13's steel rims are ok I guess...

No stereo in it, well two crappy back speakers not hooked to anything

So, thats a preview of this gem... If anyone wants it for a few bux I'll let it go in another week or so.. Otherwise I could litterally drive it to edmonton, back, go get my groceries, drive around, then drive it to pick a park, and park it where ever the hell they want it... ha...

So the car will be ready to go on the 28th.. Had a couple pm's low ballin' for it... Basically I just put 65$ into the new bumper and 100 into the new exhaust last fall... Like to recoupe some of that.. and you get the rest of the car with it!....

ha.. pm's are rollin' in.. (I wish I was still in NS, used to love havin' couple hundred dollar cars to kill) Anyways, just so people know this car is for parts only.. It will never be road worthy again after I'm done with it.. Unless you and the mad scientist want to rip apart the block.. and dump xyz amoutn of money into it.. maybe more.. (just because of the fact it's a NS car and won't meet alberta codes without tons of work.. which it isn't worth)

edit.. I'll go get some pics.. but be warned it's a mes...

theres some to start you off....

oh and one more thing, I think the starter is going.. It takes a few trys before it starts turning over.. I assume thats whats causing it, but the battery terminals are also messy... my bets on starter though...

Thats what was thinking. Your turned your question thread into a for sale thread. Mods should move this

Yeah I agree, this isn't what it started out to be, but now it is what it is, so place it accordingly... current bid is $200...

Little update, few more highway km's on today (222):
