I have a Premium 98 1.6 EL, I want to do something with the audio so it can clear out some of the places where my stock speakers are weak. Not that the car didnt come with decent audio to start with [most people who dont know much about speakers ask if I put in subs].
Anyway, I've had some suggestions, I'm pretty sure for what I want if i replace the 4 point speakers I already have with a Alpine Type-S speaker set it should sound great...I dont care who can or cant hear my sub from 10 blocks away, looking for a crisp sound inside.
First question is, should I upgrade the speakers I have or get some 10" subs?
Second question is, does anyone know what speakers my car would use? I know the type-s alpines but I mean I cant really find what sizes or specifications I need to be looking for.
Also not sure what to do about the deck, the Alpine was top recomended to me but I liked the graphite look of a panasonic one I saw at Futureshop, dont have the model # but it was about $325
