Here is one of a couple driveable Pontiac Soltice's in Canada. Drove it down to the Stampede grounds monday morning. Nice little car, 18inch wheels, 5spd, not sure how much horsepower but its pretty fast.http://members.shaw.ca/jeremypaylor/solstice%20small.JPG

wow needs lowered with some nicer rims.. it'd make a pretty serious sporty car :) isn't the supercharged Ecotec available in this car?

I dig. We need more inexpensive open-topped sports cars.

There are a lot of cars that I say are ugly when they come out, and then it slowly grows on me. Unfortunately, I don't think this is one of those cars... so ugly. :thumbsdow

I think I yeard on here that the Saturn Sky Redline will have some FI. I just want GM to drop an LS6 in there!

Stock HP is rated at 177 with 166 tq.

There have been turbocharged mules spotted. Let's hope GM does well with this one.

^ Roger, looks like a turbo ECO is going to find its way in. The GXP or whatever they call it and the Sky redline will be quick!

I prefer the sheet metal of the Saturn Sky over the Solstice.

Hmmm. debadge it COMPLETELY, loose the orange reflector strips and get new metal mesh not plastic shit for the grille and it's not a bad car...

all black grilles would freshen up the front end, the back/side 3/4 view it has some z8 in it

Other than the grill, it's one sexy car.

I actually one of the few that like this over the Sky. The style is more harmonous and easier on the eyes. And the interior is better than the Sky's standard Japanese-ish style.

This is not the first one in calgary... there was one about 1.5 months ago at GM... had to go learn about the new platform, and proper repair on some components (and update my tech 2 traning)

The Sky's got the better front end. The Solstice has a much better rear end on it, though.

If the Solstice swapped the cheesy grey Pontiac-grille mesh for a big gaping hole, it'd look sicker than sickness. Of course, then people would say it was trying to rip off the Cobra.

whenever i see the pics of the sky it reminds me of the corvette for some reason :dunno: :)

2.4L 4-cycl ECOTEC DOHC VVT engine
177hp
166ft./lbs
5spd short-throw manual
