FYI they give you 2 vanity plates in case you want to mount one up front. I hang my spare plate up in my office.

You can get them for under $200. Not all the registries here offer them at the same price

That dude should hang out with Brandon and his "PWNED" plate and they can start a german dork car club

I got mine in the fall. Without finding the receipt I can tell you it was about $135 and you get 2 plates. This doesn't include registration costs though so its better to wait till you need to re register your car to use the plates.

you do know that it is a proven fact that having personalized plates on your car means you have a 85% higher chance of receiving a tax audit right? the study was done by maclean's magazine 2 years ago, EECK.

Besides that 200 bucks is enough for some good mods...

I went to a registry in north hill, they wanted (IIRC) $208, and that included registering them. But I could be wrong on that. They were the cheapest that I found.

It's all good until someone complains about your plate and they ask for it back.

They can get mine from my cold, dead hands.

EP3-0 as someone sorta mentioned.....nothing geekier than a personalized plate, unless it's Stawr Wars, Star Trek or L337 related.

Oh and yeah I got rid of mine :D

"We have received a complaint regarding the personalized license configuration BUKKAKE and determined that this configuration is not appropriate for a government license plate.

In accordance with the Traffic Safety Act, Section 53(2), you are required to surrender these license plates to your nearest registry agent immediately.

You may choose another plate configuration or request a refund. Your attention to this important matter by March 24, 2005 is appreciated.

Sincerely
Firoz Mohamed
Director
Motor Vehicle Administration"

After re-reading the correct act I guess I have to give it back.

AMA has it for the cheapest at <200. If not.... Northill Registry in Northhill Shopping Centre was one of the cheapest places I've found. Research = calling most of the registries. :D

as much as ide love to have a customized plate think how much easier it would be for someone to id your car if it said deezntz or analfun... .. but if you drive like a human you shouldnt have any problem although theres always the odd chance you run a red

Other than that, in Michigan its NINE (9) dollars for a personalized plate, and with a personalized plate you are more prone to being 'noticed' by the cops. That aside mine would probably be

WTFBBQ :)
