lets say a car is running rich, real rich how would you tune it to make it a bit leaner, 300zx aftermarket computer

The simplest way is to decrease fuel pressure. Decreased fuel pressure = less fuel = not running rich.

First you want to know why it's running rich before adjusting stuff, it could be o2 sensor issues or it could be more serious, diagnose the problem first.
