Sylvan Lake Cruise/Meet...

Anyone interested in coming out to a meet/cruise/bbq out in Sylvan Lake probably sometime in early august. So far we have a bunch of interest on message boards from Celicas, Hondas, RSX's, RX-7's, Miatas....its going to be huge and we would love for anyone else to join. We have not yet set a specific date yet but are just trying to see how much interest we can arouse. Post here if you are interested.

sylvan lakes a pretty fun place...wifes arent alowed though..you'll soon understand why...j/k but for real come down to sylvan lake then mayeb come in to Red Deer and hit up a few places in the evening:thumbsup: let me know I can help to arrange everything for you guys

I will organize it all. If anyone wants to help...feel free :) There will be lots of us. It will be in August sometime for sure. There are a few things I have to check into and then the details will be posted. I am glad there is so much interest, this will be fun.

I just called out to Jarvis Bay National Park which is located in Sylvan and the office was closed so I will call there again tommorow and if reservations have not yet been made for August long weekend then I will make them. Is there anyone who is going to be camping??? If so I need to know ASAP If this all goes through, the meet will be on August long weekend and will be as follows:

Friday: yet to be determined
Saturday: Cruise/ BBQ/parking lot get together in Red Deer (this may include illegal street racing)clubbing??
Sunday:Mini golf/cruise/ice cream/hanging out at the lake (ie.frisbee or volleyball, or anything else anyone has in mind)(clubbing??)
Monday:yet to be determined.

I am open to more suggestions if anyone has them, since I don't really know what else people are wanting to do other than cruise and have a BBQ I am just throwing in other suggestions. The cruise and the BBQ will be a for sure thing on Saturday if I get the reservations. If we can't get in at Jarvis Bay we will still do the cruise in Sylvan but have the BBQ in Red Deer as I know places that will be free and no reservations needed. So now i need to know, who can make it for August long weekend and who will be needing a place to stay and who will be camping??

As for the meet it will now only be a one day thing and it will be on Saturday August 3rd. We will be meeting at the Westerner Parking lot at noon, for those of you who do not know where that is please pm me. We will then head to Sylvan for a cruise/BBQ. Hope to see some of you guys there

(This is Civic_Girl under my bf's account) Just wanted to let everyone know that this is still a go and you are to bring your own food and beverages. A bunch of us are thinking about meeting up at RaceCity on August 2nd which is a Friday and then cruising back to Red Deer the next morning. If anyone is up for that it would be great to have you out.
