Has NE one else seen these around town?? They have a couple xB's for sale at Charlesglen Toyota. They seem to be asking a lot for them, $21-28k.
Listings are on autotrader.ca.

I've seen the xB's at Charlesglen but haven't seen any actual xA, xB or tC's on the road or at least in Calgary that is. Seen the tC in Vancouver - had Washington plates on it.

there's a white one with a metallic strip decal in the NE.

If ppl can bring in the xB, I'd rather bring in the Aygo...

Sad thing is that the xB runs even slower than the xA...

I have also seen on at the airport with Alberta plate.

Silver with grey fire decal across the whole side.

They are all show and no go. I won't even dare to merge onto deerfoot with that thing.

I don't see how the xB can be legal but not the Tc? Is it based soley on the bumper spec?

Probably the same reason a lot of cars are not available in Canada.

Think Evo, R32, Lotus Elise, etc...

well... correct me if i am wrong, but xA, xB and echo HB are all the same cars... maybe that's why they are easier to bring in

where as the tC is a different car.
But Canada is getting the 2.4 which is the same thing as a tC

since they discontinued the celica... they need something sportier than the corolla xrs

Isn't the Echo Hatchback basically an xA? :dunno:

Haven't seen any xBs

tCs are illegal in Canada:

(scroll down to "Toyota/Lexus")

It's not the bumper spec; if it were, they'd let you replace it with a legal bumper spec and pass inspection. That's not even allowed. The tC is inadmissible "under any circumstance" (my reading of the doc I linked above, anyway), probably due to the seat belt anchorage, or other such minor things.

Of course, the lack of Canadian-spec parts may also be to blame.

I really like Scions, when I was down in Arizona I wandered around a Toyota dealership for a while, the tC is a wicked car, they're uber cheap down there also.

yeah the scion tC is a beautiful ride. To me it's kinda a cross between an IS and a Celica. IS front end and Celica Ass end. Same tire size as the IS also.
